The printhead is fragile. Didn't even get inky fingers. The code A600 usually indicates a problem with the purge unit and most likey a jammed print head blotter. I am able to push the purge spunges unit down about 1/4" and the unit (both sponges, the square and rectangular one) returns to their original position. I took out all of the ink tanks, wiped things off, and ta da, it is printing again in black ink! - unknown 0 6A00 is a jammed purge unit!BABCanon Tech

I have a problem with my iP3000 involving the printhead error five orange flashes. I thnk the 6A00 is a mechanism jam code.Regarding Error code 6A00. Reinstalled and had this error for the print head.Found this page and then found some strange little square of plaastic paper stuck in the white roller mechanism. I read the posts about accessing the print carriage parking area but I cannot get the print carriage to move from the parked position.
