When no more colour can be seen you are done. Just top and sides. You mentioned the white rocker are moves up and down, but this is very hard to see with the covers closed so you must have seen then when it was open. by unknown on Nov 21, 2007 at 3:46pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I encountered the same problem in a 6-month old machine and have been unable to
Canon Printer Error Code 6a00
I've already tried replacing the two black cartridges to no avail. When I turn it on it makes a whirring noise, but there is no movement. Used paper towel and wiped purge unit a lot of times (press down to soak paper towel with ink).
I would also suggest that you use a syringe or an eye dropper and put several drops of Windex(or water) on each pad and let it soak down through the Purge Having a problem 11/18/2016 11/18/2016 crash2199 Oxe5 no paper In there turned off and on, Epson 830, Lenovo 11/18/2016 11/18/2016 crash2199 I have a HP Photo smart 7520 printer. Saw immediately a plastic T from a clothes tag that had gotten in there somehow (probably because I had dropped in in there when I was removing the tag from a Canon Mp530 Check Printer 6a00 Feels rectangular and gently depresses a bit when blotted.
The error code went away and printer resumed normal op's. Canon Printer Error 6a00 Mp610 I've been a loyal HP user and decided to change brands and purchased the mp970. The Spring that retracts the wiper blades may have come off and jammed the carriage asm, or the purge gears broke and the purge unit is jammed. It kicked out one sheet of paper with a small newspaper clipping that somehow found it's way into the paper feed path.
Problem solved! - Anonymous 0 I have a Canon PIXMA ip5200 that was less than 6 months old and used very little. Canon A6000 I weighed the potential cost of repairing a 3+ year old unit against a new unit with a 1 year warranty. We found your suggestions to move the purge unit -- the unit works fine now. It sounded like it was printing, then fininshed, but nothing came out.

The white piece at the right that slides back to front was stuck to the pad where the printhead is stored, and the "squeegee" was keeping the carriage from moving left by unknown on Sep 19, 2007 at 6:09pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Hi, I think you have run out of magenta ink. by unknown on Sep 12, 2008 at 6:30pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Thank you so much!!!! Canon Printers It was still under warranty so Canon quickly sent me a full replacement (Printer #2).
Just the rectangular thingy had to be moved down....thanks - unknown my sponge was stuck. The error is gone, it all works fine again. I can even tell you how to rebuild a fusing assembly in a canon product as opposed to buying one new.BAB by Anonymous on Apr 9, 2007 at 10:50am Add comment http://winnport.com/canon-printer/canon-pixma-error-codes.html I removed it (hopefully I won't miss it), then cleaned gently around moving parts in the area of the printhead tray.
Move it to the far left so you can get at the purge area better. I think the rectangular one had so much ink on it it popped itself out of place. My error is gone and I can print again! what an idiot!....well luckily I fired the printer back up again before detaching anything and everything is fine (for now!)Don't suppose this post will really help any one else' same situation Oturum aç 74 0 Bu videoyu beğenmediniz mi?
Run of of magenta and you will only print yellow. I even purchased the service manual and started taking the printer apart, but stopped when I had to start taking things off the motherboard. Whatever has jammed the purge unit into the the carriage asm can't be fixed without taking the printer apart. Ask IT Technicians for Answers ASAP Not a Printers Question?
