Took a paper towel to the bottom slits where the ink is released. Closed the paper feed14. Push the on button 5 times rapidly.10. The 'Cartridge left, press on 5 times' actually worked, and got me to the main menu.

When assembly gets to just past the halfway point close the cover down quickly.
